Enterprise Agreement (EA) is for a fixed term of three years.

This three-years term gives businesses flexibility with cloud services and software licenses. All under one agreement.

At the renewal of your Enterprise Agreement, there is the opportunity to make contract adjustments to ensure that your new agreement aligns with your current and future needs.

There is also the Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS) which allows users to subscribe to the rights to use, rather than own the Microsoft products and services.

The Enterprise Agreement offers a spread payment option instead of a one-time up-front payment.

There is also the Enterprise Agreement Subscription (EAS) that allows for subscription basis to the rights to use, rather than to own Microsoft products. 

True-up as part of the Enterprise Agreement.  
Microsoft EA True-Up is an annual process for aligning your EA with whatever licenses you may have added or removed in the previous 12 months.

In an EAS contract, the client can adjust licenses for both cloud services and software downwards annually.

True Up also allows you disclose which of your initial license are in active use or not be it software products and cloud services.     

Microsoft Enterprise Agreement Enrollments.
There are two types which is the Microsoft Enterprise Enrollment and the Server and Cloud Enrollment (SCE). You will need to sign at least one kind under it.

Price changes by Microsoft during your contract term do not affect the products and services already included in the EA agreement.

The price changes take effect when you renew the EA agreement after three years.
