California bill would require breathing devices in cars for all DUI convictions
California lawmakers have unanimously passed AB 366, a bill that would require ignition interlock devices for anyone convicted of driving under the influence, including first-time offenders. The devices prevent a car from starting if the driver has alcohol in their system. Supporters say the law could save lives by stopping repeat DUI offenses.
