Building this beast started with the idea of modifying a standard go-kart frame to fit a motorcycle engine. But once I realized how much cutting and welding it would take… I scrapped the plan and built a brand-new chassis from scratch.
The frame is made from seamless 32mm tubing, and the engine powering it is a 500cc parallel twin from a Kawasaki GPZ500 – lightweight, punchy, and surprisingly easy to integrate. It produces around 60 horsepower at 9500 RPM, which is absolutely wild in something this light. The electrical system and cooling setup are simple and clean, making it ideal for a build like this.
The wheels, hubs, brakes, and steering all come from a Tony Kart racing go-kart, giving this machine proper handling to match the power.
And yeah… it’s wild. This thing accelerates hard, feels insane, and delivers way more fun than you can possibly see in a video.
