BBC Two's Politics Live discussed the NHS's future, with Labour MP Mike Reader saying the NHS is "fundamental to our health system... the pride of our country, we should be proud of these things.”

"This is crazy, this is like a cult,” The Daily Telegraph's Poppy Coburn said in response.

Presenter Vicki Young was also joined by Conservative MP Matt Vickers and a patient who talked about her experience of the NHS and private healthcare.
