Mani is a religious Buddhist scripts/prayers carved or painted on the stones, written on prayers wheels and prayer flags (Lungta).
Kangyur and Tengyur are sacred Buddhist scriptures holding the precious teachings of Lord Buddha.
Sherpa songs are an integral part of our culture and tradition. It encompasses our homeland, deities, Mother nature, parents representing it meaningfully. Songs play an important role in the preservation, protection & promotion of our culture and identity. So it is very important for the young generation to understand the true meaning of the lyrics along with singing. So with the help of my dearest parents, I try to translate this song. I would gladly appreciate any corrections in the lyrics. Thank you
