Trimmu barrage is the oldest barrage in Jhang district Pakistan, which was built during the British rule. This barrage was built between 1937 and 1939 and the Chenab and Jhelum rivers meet at this elevation.
Tehsil 18 Hazari is the newest tehsil of Jhang district, one boundary of this tehsil is with Bakhtar district, the other boundary is with Khushab district and the third boundary is with district Sargodha.
