Catskills join us for an intimate live session followed by a candid conversation about songwriting, nerves, and finally getting their music out into the world. Is it their first time playing a performance like this on camera.

Based in Brussels, Catskills are Gregory Vandermeiren (vocals, guitar), Jorn Lelong (guitar), Joren Kippers (drums) and Ewoud Ceulemans (bass). Inspired by post-punk bands such as Fontaines D.C. and Interpol, and post-rock acts like Mogwai, they channel tension, restraint and release into songs built from collective arrangements and layered guitars.

In the interview, the band reflects on:
– Playing a live session without an audience
– How songs evolve together in the rehearsal room
– Finding their own sound beyond their influences
– The meaning and origins of “Hide”
