Port Orchard, WA - Bay Street Maple
Our task was to remove a large (decayed) Big Leaf Maple with its canopy growing RIGHT UP TO a public highway. We considered our options and ultimately decided climbing the rotting Maple and use a neighbor large Fir tree as our rigging point. To complete the rigging setup we attached a GRCS system to the bottom of the Fir tree to allow us to hoist the material up the steep hill.
