In the quaint town of Cumberland, there's a new police chief. Chief James Pyles was recently selected for the position.
Pyles, who has served throughout the state, also oversaw a specialized warrant apprehension unit in Baltimore City, consisting of officers from various departments in surrounding counties. The unit was created to reduce homicides and violent crimes.
Now, as chief, when asked what his top priorities are, Pyles said he wants to deal with the issue of people trafficking drugs into Cumberland.
