Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman and his wife Beth announce a lawsuit Monday gainst Gov. Chris Christie over his bail reform initiative.
The lawsuit was filed by the family of Christian Phillip Nolan Rodgers, who was allegedly murdered in April by a man who was out of prison. Civil rights lawyer Mike Donovan is handling the case.
Dog believes bail reform is unfair to African-Americans, with dangerous and violent offenders being released from custody and returned to communities where innocent people suffer.
On the other side, Alexander Shalom, an attorney for the ACLU, joined the panel via Skype to explain why the bail reform initiative is a good thing.
