If you are moving here from Center City, you may have considered a private school for your children. At $30,000 a year per child, $15,000 a year in taxes for top-of-the-line public schools for your entire family becomes a bargain!! And, even if you haven't considered private school if you think of your taxes in accordance with your access to amazing schools and hospitals, it no longer seems like a burden.

When I first moved back to South Jersey from Center City with my husband, 3-year-old son, and newborn daughter, I thought it would be easy-peasy. After all, I am from South Jersey and a Realtor. I knew I wanted to be close to Philly and closer to my parents who were retired down the shore but I couldn't decide which town would be best for us. As I turned my search online, I couldn't find anything to help me narrow it down. I craved a website that shared tips and tricks about the area. Thus, the concept of New Roots was born.

In 2020, I officially founded New Roots to help elevate the real estate experience for my clients and our area. Real estate has changed so much even over the decade that I have been practicing. The importance of innovation and communication are two keys to a successful real estate experience that I take very seriously.

At New Roots, I take a holistic approach to real estate. Buying and selling is so much more than just the house – it’s your neighborhood, your community, and your access to all things that bring you joy. There are so many emotions involved and you often aren't aware of them until you are put into real estate situations. Couple that with the largest investment of your life and it is bound to make you feel overwhelmed.
