In May 2014 I visited the Napa Valley to shoot the MLW FPA4 cab units in service with the Wine Train. This train is running from Napa to St. Helena and back, that's a round trip of three hours.
That day it was a nice and long consist of heavyweight cars and a full-length dome car. After the operation was sold in 2015 the service of the vintage streamliner diesels built in the late 1950s became scarce. Until then the four FPA4 cab units held down the duties almost exclusively.
Pour a glass of wine (maybe a nice Californian Cab) and enjoy this little 10-minute-clip.
