Here is the original recording of the Texas country classic "Bandera Waltz", a 1951 hit for Slim Whitman, and also recorded by such greats as Ernest Tubb and Adolph Hofner. On the San Antonio-based Everstate Records, number E-101, the song's composer O.B. "Easy" Adams sings the waltz, backed up by the venerable Texas Top Hands.
On the B-side, accordionist Walter Kleypas sings John Currie's "That's the Only Way" with the Tophands Trio, another fine slow country song.
