Описание: The 3rd Battalion, 54th Infantry Regiment is reactivated after almost 50 years of deactivation. The "Iron Foot" Battalion was established in 1917 and has been a part of both World Wars, as well as the Vietnam War.

The 54th Infantry Regiment will provide training at Fort Benning to men and women slated to become soldiers as OSUT (One Station Unit Training) expands to 22-weeks.
