Here's a random one from my collection, a slightly tape-garbled Home Box Office "next" tease (for "Remember When: Way Out West"), and a promo for the 1981 film "King of the Mountain" with Harry Hamlin. I believe this was recorded in September of 1984. This flick was on HBO a LOT back in the early 80's day. I seem to remember liking it, but judging from this promo, oofah.
The “next” announcer sounds like Casey Kasem to me, but I can’t find any reference to him doing VO work for HBO. The promo announcer is well-known too, I’m sure. (I hope this has been helpful. Eye roll emoji.)
