Bollywood actor Rajpal Yadav has been sent to Tihar Jail after the Delhi High Court directed him to surrender in an old cheque bounce case. The case dates back to 2010, when he borrowed around Rs 5 crore from a company to produce his film Ata Pata Laapata. After the film failed at the box office, he could not repay the loan, and with interest, the dues reportedly rose to nearly Rs 9 crore. He will serve a six month sentence.
