For this project, our customer was looking for an efficient way to orient plastic caps. We designed an 18” feeder bowl equipped with multiple air jets to properly orient and accelerate the caps through the feeder. A series of orienting cams and air jets rotate the parts into the designated orientation and provide an easy integration into their automation process.
