This video is the eighth in a series of nine, produced by the National Wound Care Strategy Program, developed to support clinicians with peripheral vascular assessments.
It shows a scenario where the person is having a toe systolic pressure assessment, with digital PPG kit and a manual sphyg. This information can be used as part of an initial peripheral arterial assessment and as part of a toe brachial pressure index (TBPI) assessment. The patient is played by a professional actor.
