IT IS EGGLOCKE TIME! Welcome to the Pokemon Sword and Shield Egglocke Co-Op featuring GalacticElliot and The4thGenGamer, as well as potentially featuring your guys’ eggs! That’s right, with an Egglocke, viewers send in eggs to us and you guys have a chance of us using your eggs in this Playthrough!

Join us, as we go through the Galar Region with an Egglocke Co-Op of Pokemon Sword and Shield! Josh and Elliot have done several Egglocke’s in the past, but this time they find themselves doing one on the newest Pokemon games currently out, Sword and Shield, and will be doing the first ever Pokemon Egglocke on a Nintendo Switch Pokemon game too!

An Egglocke is a variant of a Nuzlocke, which is an added challenge towards a Pokemon game. Egglocke’s are super fun as they let viewers get involved in the playthrough of the content creator directly, and can sabotage the person hatching the egg with a troll Pokemon, or something very amazing that can help benefit the person who hatched it! Missed out on sending in eggs? Don’t fret, this won’t be the last time an Egglocke happens, but incase you want to send one for a future Egglocke, be sure you are subscribed to both Josh and Elliot for more banter and crazy challenges!

For example, when going into a new route, one of us may find a Corviknight in the wild, but you are unable to use any Pokemon in the wild once you have access to a Pokemon Center as the main Pokemon we will be using will be ones hatched from an egg! So, that Corviknight we caught will be stored in the PC, and whatever we hatch in its place will be a member of the team! Like if Corviknight were to be replaced with a hatched Grookey, Sobble, Corviknight, or even a Galarian variant like Galarian Ponyta, or a Farfetch’d to then turn into Sirfetch’d! The beauty of this is that you guys can send version exclusives if you wanted through these eggs, and we can play through the game with them! Be sure to send some unique eggs though, as we want a fresh and fun playthrough on our journey in the Galar Region through the Pokemon Sword and Shield Egglocke Co-Op!

✅Rules for the Pokemon Sword and Shield Egglocke Co-Op:
-You may only catch the first Pokemon in a new area! Failure to catch said Pokemon results in no capture for that route/cave/town.
-If a Pokemon faints, it is deemed dead and can no longer be used.
-If you do catch a Pokemon in a route, that said Pokemon will be replaced with an egg sent from you guys, hence why it’s called an Egglocke!
-Dupes and Species Clause are in effect, so if we have already hatched a Pokemon in the past, we will hatch another egg instead. This does not play in effect for wild Pokemon as we will not be using those!
-Shiny Clause is also in effect, because well, shiny Pokemon are SUPER rare! So if a Shiny Pokemon is found, the player has the choice to use the Pokemon if they would like, despite it not being hatched!

The Pokemon Sword and Shield Egglocke Co-Op will be uploaded on both GalacticElliot and The4thGenGamer’s channels, so be sure to be subscribed to the both of them and follow the playlist!
