Описание: Goans are bracing themselves up for a power shock as the Electricity Department has notified a 20 to 70 paise duty rise on every unit of consumed power. The Electricity Department has been constantly under fire for increasing tariffs, irregular power supply to rural areas and also for not considering plugging the leakages before planning to increase tariff. Government is facing sharp criticism for the latest tariff hike.
