Rail Operations Group 37608 works 1Z99 and 0Z99 at Manningtree and Colchester

Yesterday morning, 360110 and 360106 came to grief at Colchester East Gates Junction on 2F33 from Colchester Town to London Liverpool Street at 11:40am.
13 hours later and Rail Operations Group 37608 'Andromeda' was sent to Sheringham for driver training but was turned back at Hoveton and Wroxham. This later followed in it working 1Z99 from Hoveton and Wroxham to Colchester East Gates Junction, so, it was not to be missed!
We first sight the 'tractor' accelerating through Manningtree with 1Z99.
Next, it's over to Colchester East Gates Junction to sight it gingerly going over the level crossing. Shots are also included of it easing up to the failed Desiro.
News then came in that 37608s Dellner Coupler attachment was of a slightly different type to the class 360s and was also too low to couple on(!).
So finally, it's across to Colchester where we sight 'Andromeda' thrashing north towards Norwich with 0Z99.
Not the outcome Network Rail, Rail Operations Group and Greater Anglia were hoping for!
