Shed engineering is about thinking laterally when it comes to model engineering. perhaps its not engineering in the purest form but not all of us have the deep pockets needed for a huge workshop and the machine tools like lathes and milling machines not to mention the hundreds of pounds worth of specialized tools you also need, and the skill to use them. So its about what can be achieved in the humble SHED using mainly hand tools, and simple easy to work material, or scrap parts to build working models.
