Vanitas are rising fast in the UK heavy scene, bringing their unique blend of progressive metal and djent with orchestral elements that wouldn’t sound out of place in a Final Fantasy soundtrack; creating what they’ve coined ‘cinematic djent’. The Birmingham 5-piece have wasted no time establishing themselves in the UK music scene with dynamic live performances supporting acts such as: Monuments, Voyager, Galactic Empire & Destrage in their short time as a band so far.

In 2024, Vanitas return mature and dangerous, with a promise to deliver their heaviest release yet. Their sophomore EP ‘Chaos Theory’ represents a savage expression of rage and desperation; born from a time of turmoil and wearing its scars proudly. Setting the scene; single releases ‘Grey Morality’, ‘Lies’ & ‘E.D.G.’ quickly gained an exciting reaction reaching a
combined 53K views on their respective music videos with over 12K streams and over 1K monthly listeners on spotify. Vanitas continue to build their momentum with the upcoming 6-track EP out now.
