Ways to Celebrate Reformation Day

Creative & Fun Activities
• Dress Up as Reformers or Bible Heroes – Kids can dress up as Martin Luther, Katie Luther, or biblical characters (David, Esther, Ruth, Paul, etc.).
• Reformation Door Craft – Make paper “church doors” and let kids write or draw their own “truths” from Scripture to “nail” to the door.

Music & Celebration
• Sing Hymns Together – Simple songs like “A Mighty Fortress Is Our God” or child-friendly praise songs.
• Reformation Parade – Kids march around the yard or church with lanterns, banners, and signs that say things like “Jesus Saves!” or “By Grace Alone!”

Sweet but Meaningful
• “Sweetest Day Ever” Treats – Give candy wrapped with Scripture verses inside to show God’s Word is sweeter than candy (Psalm 119:103).
