Gain some inspiration on how to use a wood heart form to create a sweet ornament in this PotomacBeads tutorial. The Blooming Heart Ornament is a fun project full of color that you can use to hang in the window, from a door or anywhere you’d like to brighten up with some floral beauty.

1. Put a size 10 beading needle onto some size 8 DragonThread. Add a stop bead near the end of the thread. Bring the needle up through the back of one of the holes in the filigree laser cut heart form. Pick up a lucite vintage style flower. Add a Czech flower cap bead to the middle of the resin flower bead. Pick up an 11/0 seed bead and sew back down through both of the flower beads to the back of the wood form.

3. When you have filled the laser cut beading form, bring the thread ends together and tie off. Use a thread burner to burn the edges flush into the project. Decide how you would like to hang the beaded ornament. Create a loop out of 11/0 seed beads large enough for your desired use.
