Custom Built 1955 Chevy Pickup | One Off Paint Color

Описание: Herb Perry has owned his '55 Chevy Pickup for about seven years. Before He purchased it, it was an old show truck in Alabama. Herb set to restoring the truck, and making some customizations of his own. The most striking feature is the color. Herb picked a 1956 Chevrolet Turquoise Blue, but he did a little modification to the color mix to make it a 1 of 1 color just for his truck. He didn't want the same color as someone else. So far, everyone loves how the color turned out. The paint is complemented by 18" Torque Thrust chrome wheels, a lowered stance and an oak wood bed. Another subtle modification is the windows. Herb removed the vent windows on the doors, fitted a single piece of glass, then converted them to power windows. Another unique feature of this pickup is the large, wrap around back window. Most of these trucks had a smaller window in a large piece of metal on the back of the cab, but the wrap-around window gives it an excellent field of view, and awesome look. #chevy #customtrucks #classiccars

Under the hood, you'll find the 327 CID V-8 engine with double hump heads, a 700R4 transmission, and all kinds of chrome accessories. Herb relocated the brake master cylinder and built a custom battery box. As we move to the interior, you'll notice some Dakota Digital gauges, an updated stereo and Vintage Heat and Air. The seat is finished with custom tweed upholstery.
The truck is a lot of fun to drive, and always draws attention at shows. It's safe to say Herb is proud of his creation, and he should be. It's one fine looking pickup.
