Teacher retention in the United States is a national crisis— some parts of the country are listing attrition rates over 25% annually. Peter Ulrich believes this is due, in part, to the flawed way schools measure teacher accountability. What if we reimagined accountability in schools through the lens of teacher-to-teacher relationships? In this Talk, Peter argues that the key to teacher retention is creating a framework of accountability and responsibility through love, trust and transparency.
