Thelma has saved up $5,000 for her new Datsun, but she is not keen to let Ted know about the money or the car. He finds it in the teapot where she had hidden it and decides to invest the money in shares in Mullet Offshore Oil. However, the share price starts dropping straight away. Suddenly the company strikes oil and it seems that they will all be very rich. Fortunately, Thelma has more sense than Ted.
