How to Create Waypoints With Your Garmin inReach SE+ and Earthmate

There are two way you can create waypoints on your garmin inReach SE+ or Explorer+.

1. From the home page, select WAYPOINT | NEW WAYPOINT

or

2. Use the SHORTCUT BUTTON and select CREATE A NEW WAYPOINT

Each method will bring you to the new waypoint screen where you can edit the following fields:
name
symbol
coordinates.

You can view your saved waypoints on the MAP page

If you are paired with your smartphone you can use the Earthmate app and either from the MAP or COMPASS page you can create waypoints. Waypoints created via earthmate is then synced and will appear on your device and vice versa.

You can view all of your waypoints in Earthmate by going into MORE | WAYPOINTS.
