Savannah-Style Barbecue Ribs: How To Cook
Savannah-Style Barbecue Ribs
Ingredients:
1 rack Pork spare ribs
1 cup Coakley's BBQ Sauce or your favorite store BBQ SAUCE
1 cup YELLOW MUSTARD
1 1/2 cup Ketchup
1/4 cup Worcestershire Sauce
1/4 cup PACKED BROWN SUGAR
2 teaspoons Sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons Chili powder
1 cup APPLE Cider vinegar
2 tablespoons Butter only
2 tablespoons Black Pepper ground
Directions:
Using a large saucepan, whisk together barbecue sauce, ketchup and mustard.
Add your vinegar, worcestershire sauce, chili power, black pepper, salt, brown sugar, butter.
Mix everything together and cook on medium high heat for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Grill your spare ribs on a charcoal grill or gas grill, (((setup your grill for in-direct cooking))) this is very important... Your desired grill temperature should be between 225゚and 250 degrees. Use your favorite rib rub to season your ribs---- DO NOT ADD SUGAR to your seasoning. Place your ribs on the grill and let them cook for 3 hrs. I use George's BBQ Sauce for basting my ribs every 35 minutes. I like to add my bbq sauce in the last 35 to 40 mins of grilling. Take a meat thermometer and place the needle probe into the thickest part of the meat away from the bone, If you thermometer reads 195゚then your rib is ready.
The sauce works great on Chicken too, I promise you will love it.
