Here is Kuakata Beach known to tourists as "Mermaid". Kuakata is one of the most scenic beaches in Bangladesh with an 18 km long beach. Kuakata beach is also known as virgin beach because of its unique natural beauty. There are so many tourist places in Kuakata. I've tried to visit some of the places. Such as Fatra
forest which is covered by mangrove forest on
western side of the coast, known as the 'second Sundarban'. Lebur Chor which is also covered with mangrove forest. Tin nodir mohona where three rivers meet each other, beside that there is a forest called Jhauban.
Misripara Buddhist monastery, it's about eight kilometres east of Kuakata beach . Beside the
monastery there is village of Rakhine tribes.
Gangamati forest or chor is located along the Gangamati canal to the east side of Kuakata beach. Overall I've to say that Kuakata sea beach is full of immense beauty. You need to explore it with your own eyes. So many hotels are located in Kuakata nowadays so don't worry about to stay.
