On December 15th, 2022, I got a phone call from the UAB Heersink School of Medicine saying that I have been offered a spot as an MS1 for the Class of 2027. This journey has been difficult, and I decided to document all those moments of challenge and triumph here. It's been a messy but beautiful road, and I can't wait to see what the future holds.
Many thanks to the many people who helped me get here. I couldn't have done it without you. Special thanks to my mom and dad, and especially Christine, AZ, Scott, Emily, and Kimmy for helping me endlessly with my personal statement. You guys are my role models and biggest inspirations.
