This is China's First Computer, We Made a Replica!

On May 1st last year, I went to Qufu, Shandong, visited the China Teachers Museum, and saw the China's first computer "103".
The 103 is the first generation of computers made by China. It has irreplaceable significance in the history of Chinese computers and laid the foundation for the development of China's computer industry.

After returning from Qufu, I thought about how to replicate a 103. In this video, I made a 1:10 model and used FPGA chips to replicate all the hardware logic of the 103. At the same time, I wrote a program for the 103 and ran it smoothly.

Thanks to my friend Xu Zefan @ceba_robot, who gave me the greatest help in the process of replicating the 103; I also thank the teachers and students of the China Teachers Museum of Qufu Normal University for letting us shoot, understand and learn about the 103 on the spot; I thank the teachers of the China Computer Federation and Xu Zuzhe and Si Hongwei for their explanations and corrections on the historical part.
