Описание: Valuable patient health data sulk in data silos which remain inaccessible due to interoperability barriers. This results in discontinuity of care with siloed or non-integrative systems. Accessibility to all information generated for a patient across care continuum in a uniform manner was needed.

This resulted in a necessity to provide access to distributed clinical data for a given patient via a single FHIR Endpoint. The scope of this session is to talk about learnings around Data aggregation via FHIR for:
Identifying source of data dynamically where challenge is to know which source contains data for a given FHIR query,
Uniquely identifying a patient across all data sources,
Handling sort, pagination for an aggregated FHIR response,
Restricting number of resources when we have "count" as search parameter for aggregated queries,
$collect-data operation usage/expansion,
Aggregating operation outcomes
Value: FHIR consumer is abstracted from complexities of data federation .
