Cleveland area Weather Impact Alert forecast: Bitter chills through Tuesday morning rush

Описание: Your 11 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Jan. 19, 2026: Arctic air is settling in tonight. Winds stay breezy to make it feel even worse. Air temperatures in the single digits will feel well below minus-10 degrees Fahrenheit.

This extreme cold will be at its lowest tonight. There will be at least a 12-hour stretch of dangerous wind chills between -10 to -20. Frostbite is likely to form on exposed skin less than 30 minutes.

Temperatures will struggle in the low teens Tuesday with bright skies for most. Lake snow will be exclusive to lakeshore Lake and Ashtabula counties early, before tapering off later in the day. Some additional accumulations where any squalls persist.

Scattered snow showers will arrive on Wednesday. Up to 1-2 inches for most. Temperatures will briefly be warmer, even back above freezing later in the day. Mid 30s for highs. That won't last long.

Lows could dip to near 0 degrees Friday night, with wind chills well below that. Another Weather Impact Alert for Friday and Saturday. That could adjust as we get closer, but that timeframe looks to hold the coldest temperatures for now.
