Personality:When first introduced, Maemi is elegant and quiet, yet quite understanding. She is modest and dislikes inconveniencing others, even initially refusing any help. Maemi is also shown to be calm and patient, not even appearing fazed as the others tell her about Precure. She tries to politely spare their feelings when refusing their request. She is very responsible and hardworking in her studies, clubs, and as a Precure. She manages to keep her fear in check and remain at ease, even if a little surprised.

In comparison to the other girls, she appeared to be the most accepting as her role as a Precure, not being surprised in the slightest. In battle, she is usually calm and focused, barely breaking a sweat when defeating her first Akuma. She also, occasionally, displays an obsession with finding her "path" in life and appears to take her Precure duties quite seriously. She tends to trying determinedly to find an answer, or what to do to (achieve something). She's fond of performing card tricks for her friends--her favorite is the good old "Is this your card?" Maemi's alter ego is Cure Noble (キュアノーブル, Cure Noble), the Warrior of Serenity whose theme color is blue and she has powers related to ice and snow. Maemi's transformation phrase:プリキュア！スマイリングチャージ！(Precure! Smiling Charge!)

Transformation:The Smiling Pact opens, and Arisa sets the Transformation Ribbon Rainbow Decor into the recess. This causes their individual light to light up first, followed by the seven multicolored lights inside the Smiling Pact in sequence. A background voice asks, "Ready?", and in response, Maemi shouts out the transformation phrase "Precure! Smiling Charge!". The Smiling Pact produces a powder puff, which Maemi taps on the Smiling Pact to collect up magic powder. Maemi blows on her puff to scatter the magic powder into the air, which then forms her shoes, skirt, arm protectors, and top then her hair grows to knee-length, worn with a short straightened segment and two long strands and color. Finally, she pats the powder puff onto her cheeks to give a rosy glow. After transforming, Cure Noble flies down from the sky, landing on her feet. She introduces herself and declares her battle cry, before striking a final pose.

Cure Noble's introduction:しんしんと降りつもる清き青の心！キュアノーブル！(Snowing, falling and gathering, a noble blue heart! Cure Noble!) Powers as a cure:Cure Noble has the power of Ice. This gives her the ability to freeze wind and make ice swords for herself. Her name is an allusion to how princesses, common main characters in fairy tales, tend to be beautiful.

Cure Noble's Finisher attacks:ノーブルブリザード (Noble Blizzard) and ノーブルブリザードアロー (Noble Blizzard Arrow).
