While scrolling on @facebookapp I saw an ad for a local Makeup Blowout sale, having never been to one, I went in with high expectations.
While I had a lot of fun and enjoyed the company, I ended up in the negative cost wise. Most of the products were lesser known brands or out of stock items. The most disappointing thing was looking up resale values just for comparison and seeing that I paid equal and at times a higher price.
I learned a lot and will make different choices if I see another event coming up.
