Nikolas Stratigos - Nenta

Описание: Back in 2014 I visited Kithera, an Ionian island that my mother's mother family comes from. I've been going there since I was born.

There's a village called Mylopotamos that has a beautiful river, with many watefalls and small lagoons and I stayed there about three weeks, playing my music and selling my CD.
It was my second year in a row that I played there and you can have a taste of the place on my video "The Path". It has an interesting story as well.    • Nikolas Stratigos - The Path  

One day, while I was playing that piece (a more minimalistic version of it) a girl approached me and she started listening with great interest. When I finished playing she told me that she liked it so much, that she would wish for somebody to had composed and dedicated such a beautiful piece to her.
I thanked her for her nice feadback and then she asked me what the piece was called. Since I didn't have a title yet, I asked her name instead and she replied that her name was Nenta.
Much to my relief, her name was beautiful and unique, so without a second thought I told her that since I didn't have a title yet, I would love to call it Nenta, if she was ok with that. And she was.

Now I had a title for my piece and she had a piece dedicated to her!
I haven't seen her again since then.

This piece has evolved a lot during these ten years and it was about time to get it out there and share it with her again.
I use a looper pedal to record and loop a few layers of different guitars and a percussion sound, so that I can improvise over it. I hope you enjoy it!
