The Yeshiva is headed by Rabbi Yehoshua Mordechai Schmidt shlita, the student of one of the greatest poskim of our generation, Gaon Rabbi Dov Lior shlita, who presides over the Yeshiva.
The Yeshiva educates its students to engage in a profound and comprehensive study of the Torah and aims to foster a generation of Torah scholars, who will spread the light of Torah, and ba’alei batim, for whom the Torah, the service and acts of lovingkindness are a guiding principle in their lives.
The Yeshiva strives to raise Torah-observant and practical people who will engage in education, the dissemination of Torah and returning the light of Torah to the Jewish people in all its diversity; to raise people who will be active in all domains of Jewish life and make a Kiddush Hashem in public by acting pleasantly according to the Torah of Life that is learned in the Yeshiva.
The Yeshiva guides its students and avrechim to study our holy and sweet Torah with effort and diligence, day and night, in order that they may gain knowledge on the Talmudic and adjudicative literature as well as religious and Chassidic books.
Suitable candidates interested in receiving rabbinical ordination may take tests and, if successful, be ordained by the Chief Rabbinate of Israel.
Indeed, we are so fortunate as to see success in our work: students that know Talmudic and adjudicative literature. It has become well known that the Yeshiva students in Shavei Shomron know Talmud.
