This beach is one of the most pristine beaches in the whole of Qatar 🇶🇦. You can see wild flamingos, wild turtles and if you are lucky you might see dolphins too. As an expat living in Qatar I am so happy that a hotel has been opened by this beautiful beach because it means I can spend the night on Fuwairit Beach and wake up the next day and still be on Fuwairit Beach.

This is a brand new hotel resort it obtains an enormous beach for guest to swim in the sea. The hotel has a pool , yoga studio and even a gym. The hotel offers guests a variety of activities to do such as kite surfing , wing surfing , snorkeling and swimming. Guests can book classes at this hotel to learn one of the most famous extreme sports of all time kiteboarding . You can rent equipment from the facility or if you are a qualified kiteboarder like me then you can bring your own gear.

You can hire other water-sports equipment such as a stand up paddle board so kite surfing is not the only thing you can do at this resort . If the wind is strong then it is ideal for kitesurfing and if the wind is weak then it is ideal to stand up paddle board.

The beach at Fuwairit obtains crystal clear ocean water because the desalination process does not take place at this part of Qatar. The desalination takes place in Doha and as a result the brine that is the substance left after heating seawater is poured back into the sea in Doha making visibility very unclear and very salty. Fuwairit Beach boasts crystal clear water you can snorkel in this beach and see turtles , dolphins and I spotted Cobia fish when I was kite surfing in the waves.

The waves 🌊 are very large at this beach because of the sandbar so you can ride big waves when you kite surf. You can even hire windsurfing equipment and catch small waves on the shore break. I would recommend bringing surfing shoes or waterproof shoes because the rocks are very sharp and they’re a lot of sea urchins.

In the evening when the wind calms you get the most breathtaking sunsets on the beach . You can see the flamingoes and seagulls in the mangroves. Mangroves help prevent flooding from tidal waves and they are only trees in the world able to survive on the salt water and are commonly found in the deserts around the globe.

The hotel rooms are very capacious and obtain oblique views of the beach. You can sit on your private porch and watch the ocean right in front of you . The rooms have an outdoor shower on the porch so guests can wash sand off of them before they enter their bedroom. You can get a full ocean view lying in your bed . The porch has an inflatable cushion and a recliner to sit on. The room itself has a big shower , coffee machine and large bed .

The staff at this hotel are very helpful and they transport guests between reception and the bedrooms with a golf cart but guests can use the complimentary bicycles at the resort to get around from the bedrooms to the tennis court or the gym. The hotel has a playground for the children as well as a swimming pool with inflatable toys to use. There is even an outdoor movie theatre and the hotel will play a movie to watch at night while guests can sit under the stars. It is beautiful to see the full moon reflect over the ocean by your hotel room. The breakfasts in the morning are absolutely scrumptious with European and Arabic cuisines.
