Riding to Barcelona on the Bear 650 — Traffic, Hostels & Dalí | EOE EP08 🇪🇸

Описание: I’m Nick Sanders, and this is Edge of Europe (EOE) — a 30,000km solo ride through every country that borders Europe, filmed on Royal Enfield’s brand new Bear 650.

This is the biggest journey I’ve taken on in years — from the UK to the Arctic Circle, skirting the edges of Ukraine, and tracing the full outer edge of the continent. Along the way, I’m wild camping, meeting people from all walks of life, and reflecting on what it really means to live on the road.

It’s also my first time back on a Royal Enfield since riding a Bullet 500 around the world in 1992. After 25 years with Yamaha, I’ve come full circle — and the Bear 650 has won me over. It’s light, honest, and full of the spirit I look for in a bike.

🏖️ In this episode — EOE EP08 — I ride northeast from Andalusia along the Mediterranean coast, heading toward Barcelona. It’s a beautiful, changing landscape — from quiet inland roads to the edge of a bustling city. I stay in a brilliant little hostel, take some time to reflect, and then ride on to one of the most iconic places I’ve ever visited: Salvador Dalí’s house in Cadaqués. Strange, surreal, and unforgettable.

These moments — quiet hostels, curious museums, unexpected turns — they’re all part of what it means to trace the edge.
