Self loading big logs

In the back corner of the property we cut down several large trees. They might not look huge in the video, but two of the trees were right at the maximum size of 32 inches which the local mills will take. One tree was larger than 32 inches at the butt so we had to trim it down. Fifty years ago the local mills could accept very, very large logs but over time everything has been downsized.
In any case, it was fun to watch the self loader pick up the big logs and take them to the saw mill. We had so much work invested into getting those big trees cut down and prepared for the mill that it was a fantastic feeling seeing them headed to the mill.
