Doors to the Dead is a journey through prehistoric mountains, swamps and steppe grasslands. It tells of long forgotten chieftains in kurgan burial mounds, human sacrifices cast into bogs, and cosmic cataclysms. At its core, the album is a retelling of the ancient story of the cycle of destruction and renewal.
