Relative angular velocity is the rate of change of the angular position of one object with respect to another. It can be calculated as the angular velocity of one object minus the angular velocity of the other, or as the component of the relative linear velocity that is perpendicular to the line connecting the two points, divided by the distance between them. In a rigid body, the relative angular velocity between any two points is equal to the body's overall angular velocity.
Rigid body rotation: For any two points within a single rigid body, their relative angular velocity is the same as the angular velocity of the entire body.
Intrinsic property: Angular velocity is always relative to a reference frame or another object, as there is no such thing as an absolute angular velocity.
