[Synopsis]

This video shows you how to resolve some of the problems you encounter using hard drive images with a operating system and programs pre installed on it. When you use a ready made hard drive image with a operating system and other programs on it, you may have other hard drive images connected to your virtual machine. These other hard drives may contain programs in it, so when you connect a pre-made hard drive image to another virtual machine those programs are no longer accessible. However, these programs are in the operating systems registries, so the Windows registries tells your operating system the program exists. This is why the uninstall program does not work.

To resolve this problem, you simply have to reinstall the program. That will tell Windows registry that this program is in this new directory, and the program will work. You can uninstall the program, or run the program.
