On January 30th, 2026, I observed the French Navy helicopter carrier FS Mistral (L9013) passing under the 25th April Bridge and arriving at the Port of Lisbon, Portugal.

The Mistral-class is a multi-role helicopter carrier designed for amphibious operations, humanitarian missions, and command-and-control at sea. These ships represent a key component of both the French Navy and NATO operations.

In this video, you can observe the ship’s arrival, docking maneuvers, and the crew performing routine procedures on deck. This footage highlights the scale, precision, and discipline of one of Europe’s largest naval vessels during its visit to Lisbon.
