United States President-elect Donald Trump has commented on the resignation of Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
“I called him Governor Trudeau because they should be the 51st state, it would make a great state and the people of Canada like it,” Mr Trump said.
“I say from this standpoint of the United States, we’re subsidizing Canada … they’ve taken about 20 per cent of our car business … we don’t need Canada for that.”
