How is unit count decided?
The numbers are ran through a simulation many times and adjusted further depending on how well the units perform. The simulation constantly increases or decreases the numbers on each side, until a relative balance is achieved. The final numbers are used in the video. Maybe one day I can show the process.

What are you hiding from me?
If you have an observant eye, you can see that the unit with the biggest score is highlighted. Every time it takes down another unit, the amount will be displayed above its head. Are you rooting for the champion? Careful as they often tend to get focused!

How does the AI work?
The vanilla Starcraft 2 units are controlled by the original tactical Starcraft 2 AI that you can encounter when playing against an AI opponent.
Starcraft 2 Heroes and all Warcraft 3 units are controlled by an AI that I developed, which is designed to bring out their full potential. I call it "Mindful AI". Mindful AI studies the unit it is controlling, categorizes the abilities and then uses them to destroy the opponent or to buff allies. It tends to avoid inefficient abilities. Abilities are cast either in two major: Periodic and Reactive. I can make a video explaining it further if there is enough interest :)

Starcraft 2 has always been a passion project for me, same as Warcraft 3. Most battles include fully upgraded units.
