INGREDIENTS:
Sama Rice Dahi Bhallas:
• Sama Rice / Mor Dhan (समा चावल / मोरधन चावल) – ½ cup (soaked for 30 minutes)
• Water (पानी) – 1.5 cups (for cooking)
• Boiled Potatoes (उबले आलू) – 2 (grated)
• Ginger (अदरक) – 1 inch (grated)
• Green Chili (हरी मिर्च) – 1 (finely chopped)
• Cumin Powder (जीरा पाउडर) – ½ tsp
• Black Pepper (काली मिर्च) – ½ tsp
• Sendha Namak (सेंधा नमक) – As per taste
• Fresh Coriander (हरा धनिया) – For garnish
• Oil (तेल) – For frying (optional)
Vrat-Friendly Chutney:
• Water (पानी) – 1 cup
• Amchur Powder (अमचूर पाउडर) – 3 tbsp
• Sendha Namak (सेंधा नमक) – As per taste
• Cumin Powder (जीरा पाउडर) – ½ tsp
• Black Pepper (काली मिर्च पाउडर) – ½ tsp
• Kashmiri Red Chili Powder (कश्मीरी लाल मिर्च पाउडर) – Optional
• Jaggery (गुड़) – 4 tbsp
• Sugar (चीनी) – 2 tbsp
Sweet Potato Puris:
• Sweet Potatoes (शकरकंद) – 2 medium (boiled and mashed)
• Singhara Flour (सिंघाड़े का आटा) – 1 cup
• Cardamom Powder (इलायची पाउडर) – ½ tsp
• Poppy Seeds (खसखस) – For garnish
• Oil (तेल) – For frying
Yogurt:
• Curd (दही) – 1 cup (whisked)
• Powdered Sugar (पिसी चीनी) – 1-2 tsp (optional)
