SHAKOTAN BLUE OCEAN AT CAPE KAMUI, HOKKAIDO, JAPAN (MT. YOTEI & OTARU)

Описание: During our second day in Hokkaido, we drove from Yozankei Tsuruga resort to Mt. Yotei (via Kutchan). On the way there, we stopped to take some drone shots of Mt. Yotei and beautiful landscape of the area.

Our next destination was Shakotan Peninsula. We drove around the coast and took some drone shots of beautiful blue ocean landscape surrounded with green coastal mountains. After a short drive we arrived at Cape Kamui which is a hidden gem located at the peak of the Shakotan Peninsula. With its steep cliff shooting out into the Sea of Japan, you can really enjoy the beautiful landscape of this west part of Hokkaido...We walked from parking lot to the end of the edge where we enjoyed the captivating beauty of Shakotan blue water and panoramic views of the ocean.

Our next stop was Otaru, a port city in Hokkaido. It is famous for its historic canal lined with historical buildings, some of them transformed into restaurants and cafes. After Otaru, we drove straight to our hotel Fairfield by Marriott at Minamifurano, Hokkaido. We drove around beautiful country landscape of Hokkaido and although it was abut 3 hours ride from Otaru, we enjoyed the scenery during beautiful sunset.

It was another great day at Hokkaido and we were truly amazed by beautiful nature and calming atmosphere of Hokkaido, totally different from our Tokyo & Kyoto experience.
